I wanted my AIO-5 for BMW to primarily do CarPlay, but also was hoping to have configurable vehicle data displayed on the screen. Well, for the 2014 BMW R1200RT, that doesn't work. I need to have my local shop install a different Navigation software package, which will probably cost at least an hour of labor. Basically, I spent extra for the AIO-5 to connect to my existing Nav interface, and still had to buy another $100 module to enable the Wonder Wheel control. Make sure you know what you're buying, and if your bike accommodates it, consider the model with the front and rear dashcams.

Chigee did there homework on this product.
Was looking at a garmin but until I saw chigee and has all the features I was looking for. Just snap into my setup in seconds. And very simple to use.

I feel this is one of the best out there if not the best. BMW Aio5 has cracked the code to a fully utilitarian gps alternative to the bmw navigator and is fully controllable using the wonder wheel.

A few cons are:
Overall performance could have been better as it does get laggy at times but that’s rare.
While the wonder wheel integration is fantastic especially when on the road, it is quite complicated and requires some learning to understand how to use it. Also it’s much easier to just use the touch screen.
The BMW AIO5 is quite expensive especially when you compare the non bmw models which are offered with the dash came package and honestly I don’t see why the extra premium is required as the wonder wheel integration is just not as practical as one might hope.
Screen size could have been slightly more bigger considering the amount of lost real estate on the gps mounts.
The website for ordering also needs significant improvements, the address page picks up from google maps which may not accurately match your ID proofs which will become a nightmare once shipped.
Also the price doesn’t not account for any Duty or local taxes which makes the product quite expensive compared to the competition once all of that is added up. (In India BMW AIO-5 overall cost was above 60k)

Works well. I would appreciate if the speed in the right upper corner would be better visible.

Really nice and useful product, better than expected. integration with BMW hardware and software is excellent and CarPlay / android auto work perfectly. I just miss a larger display as there is quite a good amount of wasted real estate
