CG draadloze afstandsbediening Pro

I bought the remote control to avoid reaching the screen and taking my hands out of the handlebar, but in most of the cases the remote doesn't do a good job. The remote does not work well with the limited Android Auto navigability. There is no way to move from the map navigation to music control, for example, as the remote does not have up/down, just left/right/ok buttons. This causes a frequent wrong command, which includes moving away from android auto to other Chigee screens. I'm removing from the bike as is less effective than reaching the screen.

This adds a simple but refined ability to control the AIO unit. It connects without hesitation in less than 3 secs on initial pairing.

Room for improvement:
- the tiny bracket could be a more thought over design. When applying to a handlebar on most bikemodels, one is required to adjust the bracket or enlarge the mountingpoint.
- The unit would gain a lot if a scrollwheel solution was integrated for faster browsing through menu's and options on screen of the AIO

Fixed the Chigge remote by using the supplied mounting bracket to my Light switch housing.
Seamless connectivity to the AIO-5 via BT that worked first time through the settings menu.

So far So good. Just need the weather to improve to test whilst riding.

I was Happy and excited when I received my remote. As I was about to mount it, the torx on my bike was a little short. I think this product should have came with the longer torx screw. Now I have to find & purchase a torx screw that is exact fit.

I didn’t expect to use this remote as much as I do, but it’s been incredibly handy, especially with winter gloves on. It makes everything so much easier and more convenient!

Cannot be used at the same time as a GRC (but why would you want to do that?). Once that is clarified, it is a very practical accessory to pilot your AIO-5 but it takes some time to acquire the automatisms of use.
