Gives my iPhone a 2nd screen!

First, I had a problem with the Israeli logistics company that sent the parcel to a pick up point that doesn't work with them. But after contacting Chigee they answerd fast and gave me an incredible service, with a lot of patience, and we're able to fix it faster than I thought.

Second, the AIO-5 for BMW is great. As described, very comfortable, easy to just plug and play and fits perfect. Can just leave the phone in the pocket and concentrate on the ride, with the GPS infront your face and controlling it from the bmw buttons.

Last but not least, they helped me with the custom in Israel when i needed.

Good quality unit. Brings bike’s data and tire pressure to life better than the BMW NAV VI. Viewing the display isn’t good on a sunny day. I even installed the glare screen protector and It made no difference. In direct sun light, it’s nearly impossible to view the display. I changed up my map type on Scenic to a darker view and it helped some. Even after turning brightness all the way up, it’s difficult to see display. Very disappointing, because BMW NAV VI and my Carpuride on my Honda Crosstour are far brighter and easier to view. I’m also experiencing connection disruption between the Chigee and my phone that I keep charging in my tail bag. Keeping the connection once I placed the phone in my jacket pocket wasn’t a problem. I’ll have to purchase a bar bag to place my phone in to keep connection between my phone and the Chigee. For the money you pay, these two items shouldn’t be an issue. The device also doesn’t lock into the cradle easily like the BMW NAV VI. You have to really push on the Chigee to lock it into the cradle. This too is very surprising, as they are selling a devise that is supposed to easily lock into your BMW cradle. Overall, it allows use of better routing and navigation apps on my phone than the BMW/Garmin NAV VI device.

Il chigee aio5 play for BMW è costruito molto bene, solido e compatto, l’ho comprato nonostante fosse imminente il 6 pollici perché non amo avere una presenza troppo ingombrante nel cruscotto e i 5 pollici sono gli stessi che mi andavano benissimo sul NavigatorVI.
Unico appunto: nella bussola, utilissima in certe situazioni di difficoltà, i punti cardinali Nord-Est…sono troppo piccoli e scuri.
Per il resto sono completamente soddisfatto.

Not impressed with this item..is it still on my unt but it looks from time to time that it wants to come off and get air bubbles ievent thought I followed installation instructions.

Just received. Not used on bike as yet. Will write a proper review when used, however, great price and delivery wasn't too long.

Works fine with a 1250 GS ADV, connects right away with the iphone, no problems.

Eerste item verkocht in onze streek, proefkonijn dus. Goede technologie maar jammer genoeg zeer slechte uitvoering. Het display is veel te klein. De teksten en symbooltjes zijn niet te lezen vanuit rijpositie. Je moet ferm naar voor buigen om iets te kunnen lezen. In een tijd dat alles dat het rijgedrag kan verstoring onder vuur ligt, slaat u dus volledig de bal mis. Hij kostte veel geld, hij staat er nu op. Zeer jammer. Mijn raad is dus: niet kopen.

Great product , very easy to use and works really well!

I was happy initially with this product, but it tends to lift the edge of screen protecting cover, and also after 6 months of use this product broke off, without any obvious reasons (such as fall or any physical impact). Overall it is a good product but expected to be a bit more durable.....

I was genuinely excited about your product, but unfortunately, it has not worked properly since installation. The wonder wheel behaves erratically in NAV mode, randomly selecting different apps, turning music on/off, hanging up the phone etc., and only stops when used in the TFT mode.

To make matters worse, your email support is slow and unhelpful. It takes days to receive a response, and when I do, I’m repeatedly asked for images and answers and same basic questions, which feels like unnecessary stalling.

Can the issue please be addressed promptly and provide a clear solution, so I can start to enjoy Chigee, or get a refund.

I honestly thing this is an essential product for any urban or highway motorcyclist. I'm not great at installing things so I burnt a cable or two but that was my bad. There were some initial international shipping frustrations but in the end, Chigee Made it right. (There was a negative review during this frustration and I regret making it. I hope Chigee can take it down because I'm a very satisfied customer and I recommend it all the time when talking to other motorcyclists.

Excelent produt

I decided to go with a Chigee AIO5 (BMW edition) for my new BMW M1000XR so that I didn't need any more brackets etc. Setting up the unit was pretty easy although more detailed instructions would be very useful (as otjhers have commented). Disappointingly, although Chigee sayas that any gloves will work with their touchscreen they won't. My Held 2in1 gloves worked fine with my Nav 6 but don't work with the AIO5. The text size on the screen is a smaller than the NAV6 which is a bit of an issue but playing with phone settings to see if I can change (again more detailed user information would help). Not used enough to really review but pretty happy so far.I have just contacted Chigee folloiwng their announcment of an AIO6 as after recently spemnding nearly £400 on the AIO5 I think that some kind of discount for existing purchasers would be fair - they are considering.
