It is not a lie that i was afraid of priot to having this device that i have been frauded again as always. After the device have reached to me and have it in my hand and see that it was all true as raid in the video and adds. Really a good device i liked it.
This adds a simple but refined ability to control the AIO unit. It connects without hesitation in less than 3 secs on initial pairing.
Room for improvement:
- the tiny bracket could be a more thought over design. When applying to a handlebar on most bikemodels, one is required to adjust the bracket or enlarge the mountingpoint.
- The unit would gain a lot if a scrollwheel solution was integrated for faster browsing through menu's and options on screen of the AIO
It’s hard to explain but this very cool device had me grinning from ear to ear the moment it lit up. It does what they say and, with a bit of a learning curve, works like a charm. At first I had some issues with the CGRC CAN module but it turned out that full WonderWheel functionality was obtained on my bike without it. Those issues were expertly and promptly handled by customer service rep Vera. I’ve rarely encountered such excellent customer service!
Get one, you won’t be sorry! 5 stars!
I purchased this specifically because I wanted the smallest yet most functional navigation/dash cam device that wouldn’t ruin the look of the bike. I like the unit yet I have some criticisms. First, the cameras are not the same cameras as the AIO-5. They are of lower quality then the AIO-5 which is not very upfront with the advertising. The second issue is the device seems to freeze for about 10 seconds when adjusting things like the auto brightness in the menu. The freezing is kind of unacceptable as these units are not cheap and supposedly has the same CPU as the AIO-5. I will be making a YouTube video illustrating the freezing issue as none of the reviews I saw mentioned this, which is disappointing. The other complaint I have is there is absolutely no reason why they couldn’t put Blindspot detection on this device.
Lastly, I will say that Chigee’s customer service seems to be great. I had a problem with my product getting stolen off my porch and Chigee Handled the issue very fast, which I thank them for.
These are a perfect fit for the chigee aio 5 and although I purchased 2 I’m hoping that I will only require 1.
